Journaling the Voice of the Lord
God is a loving Father and He longs to speak to us. We are His beloved children and we were created to hear His voice. “How precious to me are your thoughts, oh God! How vast in the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand” (Psalm 139:17-18, NIV). There are at least two million grains in one cup of sand. It is astonishing to realize God has more thoughts for us than all the grains of sand in the world. This is how eager He is to speak to us. When we journal God’s voice, the Father crowns us with His kindness. By recording His thoughts, we remember how deeply He loves us and who we truly are. It is in this process that our minds are transformed and we experience our rightful inheritance.
In this lesson, Jonathan Helser unpacks the value of journaling the voice of the Lord. He shares about prayer being a conversation between a Father and His children, and the beauty of being able to hear the voice of the Lord for yourself. As you watch this lesson, we encourage you engage courage and faith! Journaling the Lord’s voice is where we are changed by the delight of Heaven.
